At stjæle er Haram og er en stor synd. Det er ikke tilladt at stjæle fra nogen som helst, muslim eller ikke-muslim.

Dear Mufti sir, I have a common question to be asked .
Is it a sin for stealing from non muslim ?

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

Stealing is haram and a major sin. It is not permissible to steal from anyone, muslim or non-muslim.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

There have been a few shiekhs in the UK, who have said that it is permissible to rob and steal from non-muslim civilians, be they in their homes, or be they on the street, because of them being at war with us, and for the crime of being kaffir. What is the shariah ruling on this?

Det er ikke tilladt at røve eller stjæle fra ikke-muslimer. Det faktum at du opholder dig i landet som borger, er en aftale med landet hvori du accepterer loven og du er gået med på ikke at skade dine medborgere. Du har sansynligvis misforstået sheikh'en.

It is not permissible to rob or steal from non-Muslims. The fact that you are staying in the country as a citizen, is a tacit agreement of compliance with the law and as though you have agreed not to harm your fellow citizens.
You have probably misunderstood the Shaykh.
