I thought it might be useful to anyone (if not, then perhaps interesting :mrgreen:) to add a complete list with the names, dates and info on ALL of the American presidents. The list has been "nicked" from The White House's website so I can't guarentee that this info isn't biased .

No, I'm not a nerd - I wish .

I wouldn't read it ALL either . But when reading history books (for instance) you're bound to bump into names such as "Roosevelt", "Washington", "Lincoln" etc. It's nice to know who the people you often read about really are, what they did/do, when and so on.

I agree it's sometimes wery confusing.
In America they often use nicknames instead of there real names, so

William becomes Bill or Will
Robert becomes Bob or Rob
Richard becomes Dick
Gerald becomes Jerry
James becomes Jim or Jimmy
and so on. There are many more examples.
It's easy to be confused.
