I don't remember whether or not I've posted this documentary before, but I just remembered it and thought I'd share it with you. Personally, I found some of it very disturbing (obviously) and I must admit I was close to tears when I saw it. Buuut...have a look at these afterwards; they are quite funny..."we are bulding democracy in Kurdistan" .

some nice quotes from the doc. : "...We are not arabs, nor turks or nor persians. We are muslims. But we have our own language, our history, our own culture, our own folklor...... in fact, everything!..."

...We have armenians, we have muslims, we have christians, we have jews, we have all kind of ethnic groups. -And we have lived together for ages! That shows how tolerant the kurdish people are...

Generally a very nice documentary, but attacks Iraq a bit to much :P , with all due respect for what happend in Halabja back then.
- A bit too pro-kurd or promo for the kurdish people, but true in all ways.

Generally a very nice documentary, but attacks Iraq a bit to much :P , with all due respect for what happend in Halabja back then.

The documentary is made from a Kurdish and Western point of view and is meant to attack Iraq. But yes, I also think Kurds and Kurdistan are being glorified a tad too much in that documentary. Even more in this one lol.
