No more secondary school

You guys that already are out of the secondary school. How was it when it was almost exam and you knew that it was it. No more school out to the real life. Did you feel kinde of a way sad because you gotta leave from the school you have been to in 10 - 11 years?

I feel kinde of a way sad, that it is over (finally) I mean life goes on. But it was quickly. Hehe to day my math teacher had said that it was the last inscription. And guess what I said: " noo I would like one more." :mrgreen:
But were you glad og sad because you are going out and in a new and more independent school? like for axaple gymnasium.

For me it was kinda sad but also just great at the same time! I've never switched school; I've been the same class in 10 years, so it was a bit wierd now that a new school, new class, and new classmates was the next thing. But 10th grade was fine, gymnasium was great, and my present school and classmates are just fantastic! After secondary school, everything kept getting better, so no complains

I was sad that I couldn't torture my social studies teacher anymore :mrgreen: . I wasn't sad about the other aspects of secondary school - I didn't like my mates too much. I had found the studies extremely easy in secondary school and had thought it wasn't challenging enough for me. I thought secondary school was the WORST! Then I started gymnasium and realised hell had juuust begun... :mrgreen: .

No english don't wanna sound strict But it is the rules and we all gotta follow it.

Secondary school is for 7 - to 16 years old kids. So in danisch we call it "folkeskole". Now you know hehe

Hmmm, it's hard to say. I'd say yes, it is different to be in a class in gymnasium. I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of ass kissing, shallowness, fakeness and dramas. You just have to be clever and like...be aware of what's going on...choose your mates/friends carefully .

Well, it's reallt not the opposite, but then you can't be right about that secondary school is from seven years, if it's true that primary is to eleven years.

And I went to "Folkeskole" ´when I was five... well, it's probalby just confusing because we in Denmark have a different schoolsystem or educationalsystem than in the englishspeaking countries.

In the states the school thing is like this:
4-5 Kindergarten, 6-11 Elementary School, 11-14 Middle School or Junior High, 14-18 High School, above that either College or University..

I had mixed feelings about finishing school.. I was happy because finally school was over, and I could get on with life.. But I was a little sad about leaving, because I had gotten used to the place and all the people, and I had just started to get along with the other students in my class.. But oh well, I don't miss it now..

But i call it public school not secondary school

Public school is the opposite of private school

There are two different systems of state schools. In the old system there is a primary school fo children between 5 and 11 years of age, and after that they go to a grammar school or a secondary modern school. BUT the new system is more like here in Danmark. It is called the Comprehensive School system. Here are the children all togehter until they leave school.

Some more information about english school system here... When going from a prmaty school to a gramar school the children HAVE to pass a test, called "the eleven plus". This was very much criticized, and therefore the Cpmprehensive School Syetetm was introduced by the Labour Government in 1976.

There is several schoices in going to school. If the parents can afford they may send them to a private school, perhaps even to one of the very famous ones, >> Eton and Harrow called public schools. It cost about 5000 £ a year it is only part of the cost. The rest is paid by the government.

salam sister ......ummm feelin kinde of a way sad....hehehe probably not i was damn happy leavin the school but the other site i knw i will mis my friends .i miss my friends so much ...i miss being able to spend time with them and i still remember all the funny things we did . .but we have something to look forward..


Its great to see how old friends they grew up, what kind of person they are today. .just bring all the good memories back yaay
